Alex is an experienced elder law attorney in Boston, MA, with more than 30 years of experience representing elders and families with disabilities throughout the state. He was an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University Law School where he taught elder law for the past 15 years. He is senior counsel in the law firm of Colucci, Colucci & Marcus, P.C. Alex is a certified elder law attorney by the National Foundation of Elder Law Attorneys and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) having served on their board of directors as well as a past president of the Massachusetts Chapter of NAELA.
Throughout the years, Alex has lectured and published extensively on elder and disability law issues on both a state and national level and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Association. Alex received his JD from Suffolk University Law School and is a graduate of Villanova University. He received the Suffolk University Law School Alumni Award for Public Service in 2002 as well as the Charles V. Kindegren Distinguished Faculty Member Award for Contribution to Advanced Legal Studies in 2005.
